One of the world's oldest Hedge Funds with over $10 billion under management is seeking a technologist Backend Software Engineer to join their Quant Analytics team to build a quant library, working closely with Quants as the go to person for software engineering within the team.
You'll take ownership working across the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to deployment with a focus on complex backend systems.
Location / WFH:
You'll join colleagues in the London office with flexible hours. You'll be based in amazing offices with free onsite gym as well as other perks such as catered lunches and the flexibility to work from home once a week.
You have expertise with modern Python backend software engineering and can provide subject matter expertise.
You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms.
You are degree educated in a relevant discipline from a top tier university, Computer Science preferred.
