TypeScript Developer / Front End Engineer (TypeScript React) *Newcastle onsite* to £120k

Do you have a first class education combined with commercial TypeScript and React skills? You could be progressing your career at a start-up Investment Management firm that have secure backing and an established Hedge Fund client as a partner, in a role that you can shape and influence.

As a TypeScript Developer you'll take ownership of technical projects, designing and developing data rich user interfaces and client dashboards for cutting edge trading systems technology. You'll join a small team and be empowered to work independently and leverage new and emerging technology.

Location: You’ll join colleagues in brand new Central Newcastle offices on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday), working hours with some flexibility. The offices are well equipped and offer fantastic views across the City and the local countryside, many employees walk or cycle in (onsite showers available!).

About you:

  • You have achieved a minimum 2.1 BSc in Computer Science from a Russel Group university, backed by A's at A-level
  • You have strong front end development experience with TypeScript and React
  • You’re a technologist who enjoys collaborating and problem solving
  • You have a good knowledge of modern software engineering best practices across the full software development lifecycle
  • You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
  • You’re excited to join a start-up in a role that you can shape and influence
