TypeScript Developer / Engineer (Node.js Full Stack) London to £75k

As a TypeScript Developer you will design and develop large, distributed, scalable web based systems, working within a modern cloud (AWS) microservices based environment; you'll be primarily using Typescript and Node for backend development, but will also have exposure to React on the frontend. You'll work across multiple teams and product streams in a collaborative environment that values code quality.
The company are passionate about providing excellent education to hundreds of thousands of students around the world and support a number of causes and cutting edge research projects that improve the way people learn via real-time, live streaming technology as well as Video on Demand.
Location:
You'll join colleagues in the London office four days a week, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
About you:
- You have strong full stack web development experience using TypeScript and Node.js
- You understand AWS, microservices, APIs, Event Driven systems, Data Streaming (Kafka), DevOps environments, CI/CD pipelines and how to deploy to the cloud, they use CloudFlare
- You're happy to do some front end work with React
- You have experience of working on large scale systems with millions of users
- You're comfortable with AI
- You're collaborative with Agile team experience
