Technical Consultant (Python AWS) Manchester / WFH to £85k
Do you have strong business acumen and client facing expertise combined with backend Python and AWS technical skills?
You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on Technical Consultant role at a technology start-up that is producing a software suite for legal firms that massively reduces para-legal workloads, they have seen huge interest in the product and have a lot of greenfield development work to get stuck into.
As a Technical Consultant you will collaborate closely with clients, taking ownership of client bespoke end-to-end projects with a focus on building cloud based applications / systems using Python and AWS. You'll work independently, across the full development lifecycle, from requirements through to technical decisions and will see the results of your work quickly.
Location / WFH:
You'll join a small but growing team based in Central Manchester three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days. Please note you will occasionally need to visit client sites and will need your own car.
About you:
- You have experience of working directly with clients and taking ownership of client bespoke development work
- You have full software development lifecycle experience including requirements gathering, with a sales engineer type mindset
- You have strong Python backend development skills
- You have experience with AWS
- You have good business acumen, ideally with experience of working in start-ups or SMEs
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
- You have your own car and valid driving license
- You have one month or less notice period
