Are you a technologist Full Stack Engineer with an AI first mindset? You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a global InsurTech business that is producing game changing technology.
As a Full Stack Engineer you'll design, develop and enhance modern SaaS applications, working closely with Product Owners to shape new features from concept through to production. You'll build scalable, high-quality software, write automated tests, review code and contribute throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
The business is embracing AI native software engineering, rather than simply using AI to generate code, you'll work in an evolving agentic development environment, using AI to accelerate delivery while taking ownership of architecture, quality, security and technical decision making. As the platform evolves, you'll spend more time defining technical solutions, writing clear specifications, reviewing AI generated code, orchestrating AI workflows and helping establish engineering best practices across the team.
Location / WFH: There's a flexible work from home hybrid model, you'll join colleagues in the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings with the other three days work from home.
About you:
- You have hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools, with the ability to write effective specifications and prompts and confidently review AI generated code for quality, security and maintainability.
- You have a genuine interest in applying AI to accelerate software delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.
- You have a strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including architecture, testing, code quality and Agile delivery.
- You are an analytical problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and enjoys continuously improving products, processes and engineering practices.
