Are you a technologist Platform Engineer with Hedge Fund experience? You could be progressing your career at a small, Alternative Investment Fund, working across cloud infrastructure, data platforms and Microsoft technologies to support critical trading, risk and reporting systems. You'll have a broad, hands‑on role combining data engineering, Azure infrastructure management and operational support within a modern Microsoft ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Dataflows, Pipelines and Lakehouses
- Support a bronze-silver-gold data architecture and optimise Power BI semantic models
- Manage and enhance Azure and Microsoft 365 infrastructure, including ADLS Gen2, Azure AD, networking, security and integrations
- Monitor cloud services, troubleshoot incidents and drive platform reliability and performance
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Fabric
- Improve automation, observability, scalability and operational efficiency across the environment
Location
You’ll join the team in the London office, with flexibility to work from home once a week.
About you
- You have experience within small / scale‑up Hedge Fund / Investment Management environments
- You have experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft 365
- You have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data engineering and platform operations
- You have experience with Power BI, Azure Storage, Data Lakes and pipeline orchestration
- You have a good working knowledge of security, access management, monitoring and disaster recovery
- You have strong troubleshooting skills
- You’re collaborative and pragmatic with strong stakeholder management skills
