Do you have a first class education combined with mobile application development experience? You could be progressing your career as a Mobile Engineer at a scale‑up FinTech that has secure backing, an established Hedge Fund client as a partner and massive growth potential.
As a Mobile Engineer you will design and develop a Greenfield OMS (Order Management System) application using Flutter on iOS. The work is highly complex, requiring high throughput, low latency transactions and detailed data visualisations and client dashboards.
Location / WFH: You'll join colleagues in brand new Central Newcastle offices on a full‑time basis (Monday to Friday), working hours 0900‑1800 with some flexibility. The offices are well equipped and offer fantastic views across the City and the local countryside; many employees walk or cycle in (onsite showers available!), and there's a diverse, social team atmosphere with many employees having recently relocated and lots of support available.
About you:
- You have an academic record of achievement, minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top tier university, Computer Science or similar technical / scientific discipline, backed by minimum A A B grades at A‑level
- You have mobile development experience with Flutter or similar e.g. React Native
- You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science including OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures
- You have a good understanding of financial markets
- You’re collaborative with excellent communication skills
