Are you a detail orientated QA Test Engineer with manual and automation test experience looking for an opportunity to progress your career? You could be joining a hugely successful and growing commodities trading firm that specialise in trading commodities such as gold, silver, platinum and palladium, with millions of pounds traded on their platform worldwide.
As a QA Test Engineer you will become an integral part of the feature development team, collaborating to ensure the quality of the web and mobile based trading platform. Code pipelines include unit tests, integration tests and automation test suites using Selenium and Detox. The tech stack is based on Java, Kotlin, Scala with an Oracle database, TypeScript and React on the frontend and React Native for the mobile app.
You’ll partner with stakeholders to understand test requirements, write test plans, report and prioritise bugs and manage automation suites - with roughly a 50/50 split between manual testing and test automation, with a view to increasing automation.
Location / WFH: You’ll join a friendly and sociable team in Central London with flexibility to work from home twice a week.
About you:
- You have experience of testing complex web and mobile applications.
- You have both manual and automation test experience, Selenium preferred - keen to use test automation more and increase coverage.
- You have experience of working within Agile teams.
- You have experience of working for small software companies, start-ups or scale-ups.
- You are degree educated, Computer Science or closely related discipline, having achieved a 2.1 or above.
