Java Developer in Test / SDET London / WFH to £90k
Do you have Java coding skills and strong test automation experience - looking for an opportunity to work on high impact, client facing projects across Financial Services and Energy?

You'll join a talented engineering team, working across modern technology platforms while embracing AI enabled engineering to improve productivity, accelerate testing and enhance software quality.
What you'll do:
- Design and build scalable test automation frameworks
- Develop UI and API automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Create test strategies, plans and automated scripts covering functional, integration and regression testing
- Work closely with engineers to embed a quality-first approach
- Use AI and automation tools to improve test coverage and delivery
Location / WFH:
There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days a week in the London, City office (or at client sites), you'll join a friendly, diverse, upbeat team.
About you:
- You have experience within a financial services, FinTech or consultancy environment
- You have strong Java coding skills
- You have experience building test automation frameworks
- You have strong UI and API testing experience
- You have a good knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube and CI/CD
- You're familiar with Performance and Load Testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner or equivalent tools
- You have a good understanding of DevOps practices and public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- You're comfortable using AI enabled tools to improve engineering productivity
- You're collaborative with great communication skills
