Job Description

Engineering Manager (Agile) Nottingham / WFH to £80k

Do you enjoy leading and developing successful Agile tech teams? You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a tech company that provides a range of B2B SaaS solutions.

As an Engineering Manager you'll head up an Agile development team (c10 people in total) to deliver payment solutions using cloud technologies. You'll help the team to transition from a scale-up mindset to a more established tech firm with software engineering best practices and processes. You will be key in developing others to succeed and progress their careers, instilling a positive team culture, providing line management, 1-2-1s and promoting from within the team.

You will have lots of business interaction, collaborating with the Product Team to ensure delivery of new innovations, working with business stakeholders to input into decision making.

Location / WFH:

There's a remote interview and onboarding process and you'll be able to work from most of the time, meeting up with the team for constructive meetings once a month in the Nottingham office.

About you:

  • You have experience of leading high achieving Agile software engineering teams
  • You have experience of establishing software engineering best practices and inclusive cultures
  • You have a technical background, with a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • You enjoy developing others and helping them to improve and succeed
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
