Your role:
As a Data Scientist you will work on the company's core AI platform that enables data informed learning for students, from understanding student progress to using predictive modelling to recommend content and learning paths. You’ll build models using diverse learning signals (written, spoken and behavioural data) and apply Machine Learning techniques across NLP, speech / audio and user interaction data. You’ll have your voice heard, presenting your ideas to senior business stakeholders, defining 'undefinable' problems and uncovering insights via data.
Location / WFH:
You’ll join a diverse team in the London office with flexibility to work from home twice a week.
About you:
- You have strong experience as a Data Scientist with statistics and mathematics
- You have strong Python and SQL skills and have worked in AWS cloud environments
- You have experience of building predictive models using user behaviour, sequence data or time-series signals, ideally in real-world product environments
- You have experience with Machine Learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- You have advanced analysis and critical thinking skills
- You're collaborative with great communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and pushing back when necessary
- You're degree educated in a relevant STEM discipline
