Are you an experienced service leader who thrives on building high performing teams and delivering exceptional client outcomes? You could be progressing your career as a Client Services Manager for a successful IT Managed Service Provider.
As a Client Services Manager, you will take ownership of the Service Desk, leading the function through its next phase of growth while ensuring an outstanding experience for both clients and employees. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll oversee the day-to-day performance of the Service Desk, managing Technical Stack Leads and building a strong leadership structure that drives accountability, collaboration and operational excellence.
You'll ensure service levels are consistently achieved, act as the senior escalation point for major incidents and high-priority client issues, and foster a culture focused on quality, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the Commercial team, you'll develop strong client relationships, provide valuable service insights and identify opportunities to strengthen accounts and support business growth. You'll also monitor resource planning, capacity and performance, using data and reporting to drive informed decisions and continual service improvement.
Location: You'll join the team in Middlesbrough on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
About you:
- You have experience managing a Service Desk or client services function, ideally within a technology or managed services environment.
- You have strong, demonstrable management and leadership skills, including direct experience managing managers or team leads.
- You have experience of driving performance improvement and accountability within a team.
- You have advanced communication skills, comfortable reporting directly to senior leadership and managing client relationships at a senior level.
- You have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple technical disciplines.
