C# Developer / Software Engineer (SQL ASP.Net) London to £50k
Are you a talented C# Developer looking to take on real responsibility in a small, ambitious start-up?
You could be progressing your career at a growing technology business developing an online platform that connects customers with certified tradespeople, helping them find the right professional for their job and budget. With an experienced CTO who has a successful start-up track record, you'll join a team of just five people, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the product and how the business evolves.
As a C# Developer you'll work across the full stack, developing consumer facing web and mobile applications alongside internal back office systems. Using C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, MAUI and SQL, you'll help build and enhance the platform as the business scales, with opportunities to modernise the technology and introduce AI driven capabilities into the booking process.
This is a varied role in a fast-moving environment where you'll work closely with the CTO, contribute ideas and take ownership beyond coding, including aspects of the operational technology stack. The business is keen to make effective use of AI development tools such as ChatGPT, so you'll have the opportunity to explore how AI can improve both software development and the customer experience.
As the business grows, there will be scope to expand your responsibilities and progress your career alongside it.
Location:
You’ll join the team in London on a fulltime basis Monday to Friday (with flexibility when needed), easily commutable mainline station within two minute walk.
About you:
- You have experience of developing web applications with C# and ASP.NET
- You have a strong understanding of SQL databases
- You're comfortable working across the full tech stack
- You're comfortable using AI assisted coding tools to improve productivity
- You're proactive and adaptable, happy taking ownership in a small team where priorities can change
- You have great communication skills and an interest in the wider business and its customers
- You're keen to learn, develop and grow with an ambitious start-up
- Experience with Blazor and .NET MAUI for mobile development would be advantageous
