Job Description

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Spanish‑speaking News Writer.

In this role, you will produce original news articles and content that adhere to journalistic standards, optimized for SEO and Google News. He/She conducts thorough research, verifies reliable sources, identifies trends in Spanish, and consistently delivers accurate, relevant, and well‑aligned editorial content on tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Write original, high‑quality news, journalistic‑style pieces, capturing web3 trends and related economic or financial niches.
  • Create articles to promote commercial initiatives.
  • Produce clear and accurate news and articles targeting top stories for Google News & Discover.
  • Research responsibly, fact‑check all information, and use reliable sources on trends and current topics in the web3 market to align news and articles.
  • Adapt to the site’s tone, editorial guidelines, credibility, and style to ensure relevance and search intent match.
  • Apply SEO techniques (keyword use, subheadings, internal linking, meta descriptions, readability, etc.) following editor or SEO team instructions.
  • Meet deadlines, maintain clear communication with content leads, and apply feedback and revisions.
  • Update or review old content to keep it up to date/relevant as needed.
  • Look for trending topics on Google Trends in Spanish and generate potential viral content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a News Writer within the web3 space.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO analysis tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Knowledge of Google News, Google Discover & guidelines.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Experience publishing news or articles for media outlets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
