About the role
We're looking for a commercially minded Sales Account Executive to partner with charities and social impact organisations across the UK, helping them overcome fundraising challenges and achieve greater impact. Success in this role comes from credibility, trust, and long‐term relationships. You'll be selling impact and outcomes (not products) which makes this a natural fit for individuals with experience in the non‐profit sector, including major donor fundraising, corporate partnerships, grant funding, or other revenue‐driving roles.
You'll work closely with a portfolio of organisations to understand their mission, goals, and constraints, clearly articulate value, and recommend solutions that help them raise more, operate more effectively, and demonstrate their impact. Come join Blackbaud and help power the people doing the most good.
What you'll be doing
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key non‐profit organisations across the UK
- Develop a deep understanding of each organisation's fundraising, operational, and technology challenges
- Position and communicate solutions that deliver measurable value, ROI, and sustainable growth
- Develop tailored strategies across our portfolio of Fundraising CRMs, Grantmaking Solutions, and Digital Services
- Manage your book of business by maintaining customer relationships and building a healthy pipeline of opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a holistic, customer‐centred sales and account strategy
What we need from you
- Experience working within the social impact, charity, fundraising, or partnership space
- A strong track record of building and maintaining senior‐level relationships within non‐profit organisations
- Clear, confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell compelling, impact‐led stories
- Experience working in a consultative, outcomes‐focused role, with evidence of meeting or exceeding goals
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
