Role Description: This is a full-time hybrid role for a Healthcare Assistant based in Cambridge, with some work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Assisting with personal and medical needs
  • Supporting individuals with mobility
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines
  • Performing manual handling
  • Offering companionship
  • Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Manual Handling and ensuring Health & Safety compliance in a caregiving environment
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills, including effective communication and empathy
  • Experience in providing high-quality Patient Care and support
  • Basic knowledge of Medicine practices, including medication management
  • Understanding and commitment to maintaining client dignity, independence, and well-being
  • Experience in domiciliary care or social care settings is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or training in healthcare or social care are advantageous
  • Ability to work flexibly across both in-person and remote environments
