Role Description: This is a full-time hybrid role for a Healthcare Assistant based in Cambridge, with some work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Assisting with personal and medical needs
- Supporting individuals with mobility
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines
- Performing manual handling
- Offering companionship
- Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Manual Handling and ensuring Health & Safety compliance in a caregiving environment
- Strong Interpersonal Skills, including effective communication and empathy
- Experience in providing high-quality Patient Care and support
- Basic knowledge of Medicine practices, including medication management
- Understanding and commitment to maintaining client dignity, independence, and well-being
- Experience in domiciliary care or social care settings is a plus
