Academics Rochester are working with a progressive Primary School in Chatham, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA / Unqualified Teacher to join them on a fixed term contract until July 2025. The HLTA role will involve covering classes across Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4). There will be the opportunity to teach the class as well as working with smaller groups of children, supporting them with the core subjects.

The ideal HLTA applicant:

  • HLTA qualification
  • Minimum of 6 months experience covering classes
  • Positive can do attitude with lots of enthusiasm
  • Be approachable, engaging and encouraging to the students
  • Hold HLTA status
  • Uphold the safeguarding of all students to the school's policy and to the highest standard required.
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
