With an exciting period of modernisation and growth ahead, our client is seeking a proactive Transport Planner to play a key role within their supply chain operations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the warehouse, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant movement of goods to sites across the UK. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the internal fleet, coordinating vehicle movements nationwide * Liaise with drivers and plan cost-effective, efficient routes * Monitor and record driver hours accurately, ensuring compliance with legislation * Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, servicing, and safety checks * Maintain up-to-date records for driver hours, training, compliance, tax, and insurance * Carry out minor repairs and inspections where required * Manage relationships with approved service and repair providers, ensuring SLAs are met * Ensure all operations meet DVSA regulatory requirements * Produce accurate weekly transport and compliance reports The Candidate: * Proven logistics and transport planning experience across UK routes * CPC qualification preferred (or equivalent knowledge) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to an FMCG environment On Offer: * Full-time, permanent, site-based role (Monday to Friday) with occasional out-of-h…
