We are recruiting for Transport Administrators in the CA6 area of Carlisle for an immediate start! Shifts: Monday-Friday 20:30pm-5:00am In house training will be provided and you will be required to start off being the essential support to the transport manager and other operators in the team, in terms of booking on jobs and adhoc administrative duties. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and keeping a keen eye on what’s going on, to provide real-time tracking of freight movements and ensuring timely delivery. This line of work also involves keeping your clients informed throughout the whole process and reporting back to them at each and every stage. Duties will include; * Manage within the customer service team our inbox bookings and queries, providing prompt and professional support. * Booking jobs on our internal freight system and also external supplier systems. * Liaising with suppliers, drivers and customers. * Pricing jobs * Liaise internally with other departments to ensure a high level of service and timely delivery of shipments. * Completion of administrative documentation on completion of jobs such as ensuring Proof of Delivery Notes are sent to our customers and invoices are sent.
