Mayday Personnel are excited to be working with a well established engineering business looking for a Trainee CAD Technician on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and successful running of the business. The Trainee CAD Technician role is available for someone to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Learning 2D drawings as per company standard
- Working closely with the technician team
- Ensuring the drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and kept within company guidelines
- Understanding project requirements to ensure drawings are delivered in a timely manner to meet the required deadlines
- Completing multiple projects and their modifications within the pre-determined deadlines
- Ensuring you have detail-oriented work to generate designs accurately
- Following complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings
Qualifications
- HNC / HND LEVEL AutoCAD
- 1 - 2 years CAD Technician experience
- Electrical CAD experience desirable
- Experience in producing electrical schematic drawings
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Good attention to detail
- Experience in working in a small team
- Ability to meet deadlines
Hours
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm Lunch break: 1 Hour un-paid
