We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer who is seeking a Supplier Auditor to join their quality team and take full ownership of their global supplier base. As Supplier Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business maintains the highest standards across its supplier network. This is a customer- and supplier-facing position with a strong emphasis on quality assurance, auditing, and compliance with UK retailer expectations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining the approved supplier base.
  • Planning and leading supplier site audits (UK & international).
  • Ensuring all suppliers meet UK retailer standards and internal requirements.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for both suppliers and customers regarding technical queries and compliance.
  • Supporting manufacturing sites during customer visits and third-party audits.
  • Building and nurturing strong working relationships across the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supplier auditing within the food industry.
  • A solid background in UK retailer standards (Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of BRCGS and HACCP standards.
  • Confident and professional communicator with experience managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for supplier visits and audits (prior experience essential).
