Project Structural Engineer required for a well reputed London practice. They are looking for a Chartered or nearly Chartered Project Engineer to join their London team. You will be directly responsible for the technical design of a wide range of projects.

CORE DUTIES

  • Work collaboratively within the design office.
  • Lead the technical design of projects from concept design to completion on site.
  • Design of structural systems, production of structural information and monitoring of works on site.
  • Represent and communicate design work at external meetings.
  • Support and review the work of Graduates and Technicians.
  • Maintain an understanding of company procedures and policy and contribute to the technical and professional standards across the practice.
  • Continue to develop technically and professionally (CPD).
  • Take on responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office and contribute to a positive, diverse and open practice culture.

Familiarity with the software packages used within the practice will also be an advantage (MS Office, Strand7, Vectorworks, Revit, Rhino3D and Grasshopper). The practice operates on a 9-day fortnight basis. Annual subscriptions covering professional membership of an institution, as well as training fees connected with CPD will be paid for by the company.
