Carrington West are currently assisting a council in the home counties with their search for an experienced Street Lighting Engineer for an ongoing contract. As the street lighting engineer, you will assist in the design and supervision of the following:

  • Annual Capital Programme Street Lighting Column replacements
  • Revenue schemes
  • Public realm
  • Integrated transport
  • Major projects

Design to BS7671 Highways Electrical and BS5489 street lighting. Knowledge or use of ATOMS Structural Testing. Street Lighting Design for council schemes and checks of Section 38/278 developments.

Able to carry out site inspections and street lighting surveys (G39 desirable). Monitor and support street lighting asset management and energy submission using council asset management systems (Insight Symology) and CMS (Telensa PLANet).
