We are beyond thrilled to have opened the long-awaited and critically acclaimed AngloThai, in partnership with John and Desiree Chantarasak, in central London. In an incredible achievement, just a few months after opening, we were awarded a Michelin star — a testament to the passion, talent, and dedication of our team. We couldn’t be prouder!
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Sommelier to lead and inspire our team, run a seamless service and create magical moments for our guests. We want our service to be approachable, fun and consistent whilst always ensuring high standards are met.
SALARY: £17 an hour (hourly contract)
A love for hospitality and strong attention to detail is a must with a desire to grow and develop within MJMK Restaurants.
John draws influences from both sides of his Thai and British heritage to create dishes inspired by the eclectic cuisine of Thailand, while utilising the abundance of world class ingredients found within the British Isles. An alumnus from celebrated Thai restaurants Som Saa (London) and Nahm (Bangkok), John has spent the last decade honing his craft to bring this unique and exciting concept to the London dining scene.
Desiree looks to her relationships with sustainably focused, small batch wine producers in Europe to complement the food at AngloThai.
