RGB Network are currently representing a well-established Fire & Security Company who are looking for a Smoke Ventilation Project Engineer to be covering East London. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and inspection of smoke ventilation systems across various commercial sites. You’ll be ensuring that all systems are fully functional, compliant, and meet safety standards.

Package:

  • Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
  • 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Company phone, laptop, and tools provided
  • Overtime available
  • Ongoing training and development

Area of Cover: East London

Main Duties:

  • Work alongside the service team to complete planned maintenance visits in line with schedules
  • Install AOV and smoke ventilation systems, coordinating with site teams and ensuring designs are followed accurately
  • Carry out inspections and diagnostic tests to verify system performance under both routine and emergency conditions
  • Provide clear reports with any findings, and recommend necessary repairs or system upgrades
  • Complete reactive repairs and support the service team with fault finding
  • Ensure all systems meet current fire safety regulations and building compliance standards
  • Advise clients and site teams on compliance and safety issues
