Blue Arrow is recruiting for an immediate start Experienced Shot Blaster for their client based in Forfar.
Pay Rate: £14 - £16 Per Hour (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30 pm
Contact: Ongoing Temporary
The Role:
- Shotblast as required using all types of media, ensuring to blow down after blasting is complete
- Keep workshop safe and tidy at all times
- Clean up blast room and general workshop
- Ensure masking of parts on job pack is adhered to
- Ensure blasting reports are filled in
- Assist with all other workshop duties as required
- Mask up parts as per requirements on job packs
- Assisting with packaging of parts
- Assist with weekly forklift checks as required
- Adhere to all QHSE policies, procedures and ensure all staff are following too, reporting any issues to manager

- Applicants must have experience in blasting using chilled iron, alu-oxide and crushed glass and be able to identify between SA 2/2.5/3.
