A well-established and growing FMCG business based in Bury St Edmunds is looking to expand its team with the addition of a Shift Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the FMCG sector who is comfortable with long shifts and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Please note: due to the site location, a full driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor 24/7 production facility
- Adjust and maintain milling and cleaning equipment for optimal performance
- Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency
- Maximise output and minimise downtime
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Support both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
- Accurately complete production and safety documentation
- Assist with loading tankers when required
- Previous experience working Panama shifts is highly desirable
- Background in food production or manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills and good understanding of health & safety practices
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
