Job DescriptionSHEET METAL WORKERWe are recruiting for an experienced Welder to work for our client who are based in Hope Valley.THE DUTIES OF A SHEET METAL WORKER:Mig / Tig and spot welding experience is essential.Fabricate and weld to a high quality, making bespoke products, sheet metal components.Weld/fabricate frames from mild steel, stainless, angle iron and hollow section to a high standard.Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:Apprentice trained or time served fabricator/welderAttention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skillsMathematical minded to work out tolerances.THE HOURS:This is a 12 months contract38 Hours per week, 4 day week, rotating shifts, Monday Thursday/Tuesday-Friday or 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 – 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).THE PAY:You will earn an hourly rate of £17.50 per hour depending on experience The salary will be determined following a weld test /interview.COMPANY BENEFITS:Company Incentive Scheme.Generous salary sacrifice pension plan with 7.5% Employer contributions and with 8 x salary death in service policy.24 days annual leave rising to 27 after 3 years – plus statutory…
