Due to unprecedented growth in the UK wind turbine service and maintenance business, our client is looking for an experienced and capable Senior Wind Turbine Technician to join their existing team. This role is vital to strengthen and extend their wind turbine installation, supply, operation, and maintenance service operations.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of clients' wind turbine equipment. This involves maintaining, testing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems within the turbines. As a Senior Technician, you will play an integral role in driving high-quality standards, effective teamwork, and excellent communication to ensure the success of the operation. You will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior team members and helping them develop their skills.
Although this position is predominantly based in the Aberdeenshire/Perthshire region, the role requires a considerable amount of travel between sites and occasionally time away from home to support other regions for training and operational support.
