We are looking for a detail-oriented and IT-literate Warehouse Team Leader to join our growing team at Heathrow. This hands-on leadership role focuses on effective team supervision, email and workflow management, task delegation, and ensuring operational excellence across warehouse functions, including X-ray screening and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Delegation: Supervise daily warehouse operations and allocate tasks effectively. Monitor team productivity and quality of work. Hold team briefings and provide regular performance feedback.
- Email & Communication Management: Review and respond to internal/external emails promptly. Coordinate effectively with logistics, procurement, couriers, and other departments. Keep communications organized and flowing to avoid delays or confusion.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control. Ensure SOPs and best practices are followed. Use AS400/WMS systems for order management and reporting.
- X-ray Screening Oversight: Ensure X-ray screening processes are adhered to and compliant with regulations.
