First Task Professional are delighted to be working with a growing specialist subcontractor to recruit a Senior QS / Commercial Manager for their team based near Falkirk. The company have a enviable order book, with the majority of their workload already secured for the next 3 years and are currently working with a number of well known and establish building contractors and developers across Central Scotland. Reporting into the MD, your role will include: * Provide robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level * Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place, carrying out cost management including forecasting, update the monthly CVR cost and commercial plans * Ensure that commercial processes are adhered to across the business * Subcontract procurement and management – engaging additional supply chain to deliver scope of works * Reviewing terms and conditions * Estimating new projects as and when required * Recruitment, training and development of additional QS's The business are looking to continue to grow and this person to be integral in the long term plans for the company.
