The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is the UK’s principal competition and consumer protection authority that drives market outcomes that benefit people, businesses and the UK economy. Our work is high profile, continually evolving and intellectually stimulating with a regular presence in national media and of interest around the world. We are facing far-reaching changes in our external operating environment and equally material changes to our own responsibilities and functions. This is particularly true for our Consumer Protection work as the Digital Markets Competition and Consumers Act 2024 gives us significant new powers to directly enforce consumer protection law. Your Role
As Senior Director, you will have responsibility for leading the delivery of the CMA’s Consumer Protection pipeline and portfolio, overseeing multiple cases as well as our programmes of guidance, business engagement and stakeholder management. You’ll ensure our consumer protection and markets regimes are delivered to a clear vision, in a collaborative and inclusive working culture. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams of lawyers, economists and tech specialists to deliver high impact outcomes benefiting UK consumers and the economy.
