SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant Monday-Friday 8:30am-3.30pm Daily Rate: £89-£115 per day Empowering Learning are currently working with a Popular SEN school in Middlesbrough who require a SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant to start September 2025 Are you a passionate, dedicated an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to use your skills to teach pupils with more complex needs? If so, then maybe a role at one of our amazing SEN schools is for you. This role will be challenging but ultimately rewarding and a great way of gaining more complex experience. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible. Within this job role is it important to encourage the children to communicate with you, finding a way together to overcome any behavioural problems and progress in education. Some typical responsibilities could include, supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom, helping pupils increase their confidence and self-esteem and agreeing and writing action plans to deal with problems.
