SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for passionate and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our fantastic team for one of our schools in Chester. If you are looking to make a meaningful difference and help children thrive in a supportive learning environment, this role could be perfect for you!Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, assisting with learning, social skills, and personal development.Support the class teacher in creating and implementing tailored lesson plans for SEN students.Help adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs and abilities.Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.Assist in monitoring and tracking students’ progress, reporting back to the class teacher.Work closely with other staff members and parents to ensure that the needs of the students are met.Encourage positive behavior and support students with their emotional and social development.Requirements:Experience working with children with SEN, either in a school setting or through other support roles.A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to working with children with diverse needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team….
