The Role – SEN Teacher We are currently looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teacher to join a nurturing SEN school in Havering this September. The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching children with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and emotional/behavioural challenges. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment. You’ll teach small groups or 1:1 depending on need, with strong support from teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff. Flexibility, empathy, and a trauma-informed approach are key in this role.
