Red Sky is seeking a dedicated Safety and Compliance Officer to join our client's team at London Oxford Airport, with occasional support at the London Heliport. This role plays a key part in supporting aviation safety, compliance activities, and workplace health and safety in line with national and international regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Safety & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting internal and external audits across operational areas; recommending improvements and tracking corrective actions.
- Monitoring CAA regulatory updates and assessing operational impacts.
- Managing safety reporting via the SMS; investigating hazards and submitting mandatory reports (MORs/RIDDORs) on time.
- Supporting departments with understanding and implementing aviation safety regulations.
- Assisting in drafting and updating safety and compliance policies and procedures.
- Coordinating and monitoring corrective actions to resolve safety issues.
- Ensuring closure of non-conformances identified through audits or safety monitoring.
- Promoting a Just Culture and supporting training, safety communication, and staff engagement.
