Quantity Surveyor – Energy – 6 month initial contract – Outside IR35 About the Role We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with 3-5 years of experience to support the commercial management of the SSEN framework. The role involves working closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure cost control, contract compliance, and project profitability across a range of energy infrastructure projects, including overhead line (OHL) builds, underground cable installations, civil works, and substation builds. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the commercial management of multiple subcontract packages. * Support the preparation and review of contracts and agreements. * Provide accurate forecasting and cost value reconciliations (CVRs). * Utilise ERP systems such as Coins, Causeway, or SAP for financial and project management. * Ensure detailed and precise cost reporting and documentation. * Collaborate with project teams to monitor budgets and financial performance. * Support in the preparation and negotiation of variations and claims. * Work to tight deadlines while managing workload effectively.
