Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? Our client is a large Civil Engineering Contractor working on a heavy civils project in Norwich. They are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor, on a freelance basis, to help bolster their team.
Role and responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit Applications for Payment.
- Identify, communicate, and evaluate changes in scope or requirements.
- Oversee cost management and financial aspects of key projects.
- Provide specialist guidance on contractual claims and final account settlements.
- Undertake reviews of new awards and contracts.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- A degree qualification in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
