Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? Our client is a large Civil Engineering Contractor working on a heavy civils project in Norwich. They are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor, on a freelance basis, to help bolster their team.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit Applications for Payment.
  • Identify, communicate, and evaluate changes in scope or requirements.
  • Oversee cost management and financial aspects of key projects.
  • Provide specialist guidance on contractual claims and final account settlements.
  • Undertake reviews of new awards and contracts.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • A degree qualification in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams).
