Quality Control & Assurance Officer Salary: £40,850 per annum Location: Field based Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday Do you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the technical expertise to keep housing repairs at the highest standard? We’re seeking a Quality Control & Assurance Officer to lead on ensuring all repairs, both in-house and via contractors – meet exacting technical, safety, and customer service standards. In this role, you’ll be: * Carrying out detailed inspections of repair works and non-repair contracted projects. * Identifying and resolving any gaps in quality control or compliance. * Advising on technical building matters, from complex repairs to legal disrepairs. * Leading on technical complaint resolution to deliver the best outcomes for residents. * Using data, KPIs, and reporting to drive continuous improvement. You’ll bring: * Significant experience in building surveying/maintenance for domestic properties. * Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations, landlord/tenant law, and health & safety. * Exceptional communication and negotiation skills – able to explain technical issues in plain English. * Contract and project management expertise. * Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
