Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Management Accountant to join their close-knit, professional team in Rochester - Kent. This flexible, hybrid role is central to the financial operations of our property management function. You will manage client accounts using TRAMPS property management software, supporting our surveyors and property managers in maintaining the highest standards of service to landlords, tenants, and leaseholders.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate accounting records for managed properties using TRAMPS software
- Prepare and issue landlord statements, rent demands, service charge accounts, and financial reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, client ledgers, and service charge funds
- Process contractor invoices, tenant receipts, and supplier payments
- Assist with service charge budgeting and year-end reconciliations
- Respond to financial queries from landlords, tenants, and internal teams
- Support compliance with RICS client money handling rules and audit requirements
