We’re working with a leading social housing refurbishment contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of planned maintenance works across social housing properties in South London. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishments and upgrades in occupied homes, our client is seeking a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who can help manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor that places a strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

The Role: Reporting to the Commercial Manager and based from the company’s office near Brixton (with flexible working available), you’ll be responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of a portfolio of planned maintenance schemes. These typically include internal and external works such as kitchen and bathroom replacements, roofing, and M&E upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and project progress reports
  • Agreement of external valuations and cashflow forecasts to maximise project value
  • Assisting with the preparation and agreement of main contract and subcontract financial documentation
