Temporary Probation Services Officer - High Wycombe

Location: High Wycombe (Easton Court) HP11 1NT | Full-time or part-time | 26 weeks | £14.99 PAYE / £19.74 Umbrella per hour | Office-based (no remote work)

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Probation Service Officer on behalf of our client the National Probation Service. We are looking for a PSO to join a busy contact centre in High Wycombe, supporting the supervision and rehabilitation of individuals on probation. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a role that supports safer communities and helps individuals build better futures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of individuals on licence or community order
  • Complete risk assessments and sentence plans
  • Monitor compliance and progress
  • Engage with service users to address their needs (housing, employment, etc.)
  • Work closely with police, local councils, and support agencies

About the Site: You'll be based at Easton Court, a Ministry of Justice probation centre that plays a vital role in reducing reoffending in the South Central region. The team works in partnership with Thames Valley Police and other services to ensure effective offender management and resettlement.
