Are you looking for flexible work as a Nursery Assistant? We are currently recruiting for competent and experienced Nursery Assistants to join our team to support with Short Term and Long-Term placements in local Nurseries in the Guildford area.
Daily Duties will include:
- Support the nursery team to ensure effective and positive play opportunities are provided on a day to day basis.
- Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate planned and spontaneous activities.
- Helping to create a warm, safe and inclusive environment.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, including toys and educational materials.
- Support children in their daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal hygiene.
Essential requirements for the Nursery Assistant:
- At least 1 yearsβ experience in a nursery role.
- Good knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and respond to children's needs promptly.
- Your passion to be shown in your day-to-day interaction with children.
Desirable requirements of the Nursery Assistant:
- Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare.
- An enhanced DBS Check.
