Job Title: NOC / Firewall EngineerLocation: Leeds (3 days per week on-site)Rate: £320 per day (Outside IR35)Engagement: Full-Time ContractReports To: Network Operations Manager / Head of Managed Services We are seeking a skilled NOC / Firewall Engineer with hands-on experience in Check Point, Fortinet, or Palo Alto Networks technologies.Role Overview In this role, you\’ll be an integral part of our Network Operations Center (NOC), supporting critical client infrastructure across multiple environments. You\’ll be responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining network security devices, responding to incidents, and ensuring high availability and performance of network services. This is a hands-on, technical role suited to an experienced network security professional who excels in a dynamic, client-facing support environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network infrastructure across client environments using centralized monitoring tools. Perform security policy changes, firewall rule modifications, NAT and routing updates across Check Point, Fortinet, and/or Palo Alto platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and security-related issues.
