As a Network Service Designer, your primary responsibility will be to provide system design and solution expertise within a defined area of the engineered domain. You’ll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all solutions are technically sound and aligned with customer requirements.
In your secondary role, you’ll act as an Engineering Authority, offering oversight and support across the wider service team. You’ll help ensure system-level performance meets design expectations and is fit for purpose.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Essential
- Demonstrate suitable professional qualifications such as CCNA/CCNP/Juniper JNCIA OR provide relevant evidence of minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing, delivering, testing and supporting network solutions within military and/or air traffic management domains or equivalent organisations.
- Desirable
- Ability to work in a regulated environment, e.g. CAP 670 or Defence Standard 00-972.
- Design, Commissioning & Support of Air Traffic Management equipment meeting applicable standards, or other high integrity systems.
- Knowledge of Microwave link and/or BLoS technologies.
- Provision of NOC/SOC services (working within or managing).
