Topological Limited is looking for an enthusiastic individual with network and/or CCTV installation experience to join our team, based in Runcorn. The position will include installing and maintaining Aruba switch/wireless networks, Hikvision CCTV and Paxton doors for local schools. Roles/activities are varied, with flexibility for some out of hours work. You will have client contact, so people skills and the ability to obtain an enhanced DBS are essential. Driving is a necessity with a clean driving licence (van to be provided after initial probation period). Ongoing training will be provided.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- CCTV Installation and maintenance
- Technical Support (remote and onsite) and update support logs
- Installation of cabling, network switches and wireless Access Points
- Update documentation (CRM and excel)
You will need:
- Experience of working on multiple sites
- Networking fundamentals – VLANs/wireless
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving abilities
Basic Knowledge/Understanding:
- IT experience (Microsoft Office)
- Capable with hand and power tools e.g. ladders, drills, etc
- Health & Safety
- Cabling (CAT5e, CAT6 and fibre optic)
- Computers/technology
