Supervisor Requirements:- NEC4 ECC Supervisor experience.
- SMSTS/IOSH accredited.
- Experience in Geotechnical/Earthworks projects.
- Reservoir experience desirable.
- Good communication skills (client/contractor/QCE/Principal designer).
- Carry out the duties of ECC Supervisor for the construction works as required by the Client's NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract. The Supervisor shall maintain close contact with the ECC Project Manager and the Client in order that their actions reflect the Client's objectives for the project.
- Monitor the site set-up works, clearance works, construction works, and site reinstatement, and supervise any environmental surveys or environmental high risk works for the site.
- The Supervisor shall ensure the works are undertaken in accordance with the Contract and shall issue Defect notifications when required.
- All earthworks testing must be witnessed (or advised where this is not feasible/possible) and documented accordingly. Earthworks advice may be requested/offered where material does not meet the testing specification with proposals to improve the material to achieve the specification. Liaison with the contractor earthworks team and the QCE/delegate are critical.
- The Supervisor shall receive and review method statements and risk assessments.
