Multi-Modal Freight Coordinator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Multi-Modal Freight Coordiantor for a privately owned nice sector Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area. Duties to include:- · Gathering information and providing clients with accurate information · Oversee and assist in the preparation of quotations for clients, recording the information on the Company databases and following up to secure business · Booking shipments with hauliers, ocean lines and airlines · Completing AWB\’s, bills of lading, customs entries and identification and preparation of all other documentation required for export and re-import · Liaising and updating clients, overseas agents, and suppliers as necessary. · Supervise and monitor through transit corridor with hauliers, ocean lines, airlines and overseas partners · Ensuring correct customs procedures are being used · Monitoring of shipments including accurate booking in on internal system · Supervise and assist cost accruals and charging of shipments including the sending out of invoice and back up documentation to the relevant party. Requirements:- · Experience in an operational environment (multi modal would be an asset) · Able to organise themselves and work independently. · Able to manage and organize several tasks simultaneously.
