Model Design Engineer - F1

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Model Design Engineer with a strong aerodynamics background to join an F1 team. This team has recently moved into new premises so you\’ll be working with a brand new facility and new offices. Opportunity to work within a tight knit design team where everyone is working closely together to achieve the teams goals. In this role, you will be responsible for design of components and assemblies that will be used within a wind tunnel test environment for the development of F1 car surfaces. Will also be looking into design processes that will reduce lead times and reduce model time change. There is flexibility on your CAD software experience its more about having that F1/Motorsport design experience, training can be provided on the CAD system. What you need for this position: Degree in mechanical, motorsport, automotive or aerospace engineering 5+ years experience within surface design Experience of working within high performance motorsport/automotive environments Proficiency in CAD, is flexibility on what software ideally NX or Catia. Excellent problem-solving skills with a team-player attitude.
