Are you a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer/Mechanical Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading engineering business that delivers innovative, bespoke projects to global clients across a variety of exciting industries. You’ll be working on one-of-a-kind designs within the creative sector, contributing to high-profile projects spanning the architectural, construction, exhibition, and live event fields. No two projects are the same, providing a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
The role will involve conceptual design of stage, performance and special machines to meet client concepts or specifications.
Key Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Conceptual design of stage, performance and special machines to meet client concepts or specifications
- Undertake, update and review design risk assessments
- Produce or supervise creation of conceptual models in Autodesk Inventor including FEA.
- Develop designs and produce engineered solutions with supporting calculations and analysis to achieve better than regulatory standards and guidelines including Eurocodes, Machinery Directive, CDM Regulations and Entertainment Technology - Machinery for Stages and CE/UKCA Standards.
